July 2012 Game Summary Winner

Each month, one game summary is chosen as the best game summary of the month. For July 2012, the winner is USS Ghost Rider from Alpha Fleet! Congratulations!

Read the latter part of their entry below:

The battle continues on all fronts, but the tides have turned in the favor of Ghost Rider, the Carrier Strike group and the Klingon Alliance. A big part of this is from a Terran Empire defector, who claims his name to be Jack Drake. He is being held in “guest quarters” with twelve armed Marines watching him and a forcefield around the room.

On the planet Mempa, Dr. Saalfrank and the Andrionian P’Trell form an uneasy alliance between them. Elise was able to free them from the chains holding them, and P’Trell found the control panel for the cell door.

Commander Marek, the Chief Intelligence officer, was able to uncover a lead to the whereabouts of Ghost’s missing Doctor. This led Abaddon to call upon the Reaper team, a team of nine highly trained, specially skilled Marines. They launched from Ghost Rider to the planet Mempa. There, they found a secured base which they infiltrated and, once secured, they were able to rescue twelve prisoners that the Terran Empire was holding in the facility, one of the prisoner’s being Dr. Elise Saalfrank.

On Ghost Rider the Marines and security teams were able to contain the last of the Terranean invaders. Medical was still scrambling to treat the mass numbers of injured. Engineer was secured and the Engineers got to work on repairing what they could from main engineering till they got the word that they were free to move about the ship.

On the space hub, things were also looking up. The security team was given the time they needed by Givard’s sacrifice. They were just about to engineering when an explosion went off. Bates reacted tackling his commanding officer to the floor, to protect here. He suffered minor burns and she suffered a broken nose. The team quickly got to their feet and continued the last 200 years to Engineering. Once they got there reinforcements started to arrive, and the injured were attended to as best as could be expected without anyone from medical with them.

Commander Marek found another lead which he sent to 2nd LT Bates on the Space hub, the message was that an actual Klingon Engineer was working with the Terran to sabotage the space hub.

The battle for space…. Our fighter suffered heavy losses, but those that remained continued to fight. Andrea Morgan found herself “hearing voices” and wondered if she was going crazy.

Star Trek: Eternity Joins SpaceFleet OnLine

The sim follows the adventures of the starship Eternity and her crew; set in the Star Trek canon universe following the events of Star Trek Countdown, continuing the Prime Next Generation Timeline. A dynamic experience, transpiring in an episodic/seasonal chronology of an ever changing, muli-avenue, driven and epic story.
