SG-10; Paragon Score Wins in Tournament

The Federation Sim Fleet is pleased to announce two winners from the Simming League’s Tournament of Sims come from the FSF. Both sims, Stargate-10 and Paragon won for the category “Best Live-Action” sim.

The Tournament of Simulations is an annual competition that began in 1999. During the fall, judges visit participating sims, and when the competition is finished, the top sims are announced. The winners receive a sticker for their website and earn bragging rights that they can use to advertise their sim.

Previous winners from the FSF have included the USS Stargazer simulation, both for “Best Live-Action” game and “Best Host” for Jay Truce.

The FSF congratulates both the hosts and crews from SG-10 and Paragon.

Communique; Commander”s Table Released

FSF Communications is pleased to announce the release of the October edition of the FSF Communique. This months issue includes an interview with SOTM host, FSF Duke, as well in-depth look at Vampires and a expanded news section.

The Communique & The Commander”s Table can be found online at Communique or you can now download a barebones PDF copy of this Communique in the FSF File Library.

Any ideas, suggestions or critiques you might have are more than welcome. Send such suggestions to FSF Trinity ( ).

Now on the same site and available in both HTML and Flash versions, both newsletters have taken on a whole new look.

This month”s visitor to the Commander”s Table is FSF Rebel telling a tale from the Circus of the Damned sim.

The Commander”s Table is a place for all FSF Hosts to tell their stories. The Commander”s Table spans all time and space and you never know where you may find it or who may be there.

The bartender, Cap,makes sure that only Commanders enter and, somehow, always knows exactly what you want to drink before you even realize it yourself. The bar appears differently to people, drawing from whom and what they are to make a place that is most comfortable to them.

To Klingons it would be just like a place found deep in the cities of the homeworld with weapons abounding on the walls. To the Irishman, it would be an old fashioned Irish pub. Each person sees and experiences exactly what they need to allow them to tell their tales.

There is no monetary exchange here. All drinks, no matter how many you have are all paid for in the form of a story. It doesn”t, necessarily, have to be a story of Command, just a story that means something and, hopefully, all can learn from it.

Hosts interested in visiting the Commander”s Table should contact FSF Trinity.
